Play inspections are carried out to ensure compliance with EN1176 for outdoor play equipment. These can be as part of the inspection regime on an annual basis or as part of a post installation inspection. |

Inspections to BS8409 for indoor/soft play areas. |

Wheeled sports areas – skateparks etc- Compliance with PAS35, and risk assessment. |

General recreation areas and compliance with PAS 30 (football goals, basketball, Multi-use games areas) |

Client base
- Local Government – Scottish unitary authority, English County/District/Parish, Environmental Health Departments, Training dept, Grounds maintenance, Landscape services. Also Health Boards and Education Departments.
- Private /commercial play – recreation areas at holiday villages, caravan sites, pubs, restaurants
- Indoor/soft play – Commercial or Local Authority
- Housing developers - Post-installation inspection of play areas.
- Play equipment companies/landscapers – some local authorities require post install inspection as part of contract, or this is offered by installer, to be an independent check of the playarea on completion. (Can also speed up payments!)
- Charitable/community groups – may have designed or built own equipment and require safety check. May have commissioned unique items (sculpture, etc) and need inspection to ensure safety.
